Air Cargo Security project receives 2015 GTEC Distinction Honouree
The Secure Supply Chain Information Management System Enhancement Project was created by Transport Canada to help eliminate bottlenecks at airports. Lansdowne Technologies played a key role in the development of the enhanced system, which enables all applicant companies to align security plans and operations with Air Cargo Security Program requirements. The project was one of 73 nominations in 2015 for recognized excellence in public service delivery, leveraging information technology and information management by GTEC, Canada’s internationally recognized forum for enabling and celebrating Information and Communication Technology (ICT) leadership, innovation and impact in Canada’s public sector.
The project was selected as one of 24 Federal GTEC 2015 Honourees, joining more than 556 public sector teams and individual leaders who, since 1992, have received this distinction for excellence in public service ICT management and delivery.

Richard is an emergency management, emergency planning and information management subject matter expert with over thirty one (31) years of experience in the defence, security, and emergency management fields.
Ian is an experienced and proven strategic planner with the ability to develop concepts of operation that require the integration of multiple national and bi-national stakeholders. He has extensive marine operations experience ranging from operations at sea to planning and executing whole of government domestic operations at the operational and strategic levels.
